The engagement photo is typically shot at Theta Pond or some other nice and easily-accessible location on a sunny afternoon in Stillwater when everybody is available. The best three to five black&white images are then lightly retouched and emailed to the customer. These mid-resolution images maybe forwarded to the newspaper for engagement notice, and as graphics for custom wedding invitations, etc. The bridal portrait is also photographed in the same manner, and the thumbnails of up to three of the best poses are then emailed to the customer for selection. Only after the selection would the picked image be enhanced/retouched, before a 11x14 portrait print is produced for the customer, along with a complement of five 5x7's for love ones to display in their offices, at home, etc. We do bridals on the wedding day too, but having a separate bridal day gives us more time, and the ability to go to different places, and you have a beautiful 11x14 to display at the wedding reception. Love Story is for wedding video customers only. Love story is captured like a 40-minute interview, with the bride-to-be and groom-to-be each separately, and then together. It is typically done prior to the rehearsal, or after the engagement photo session. The final edited love story video, usually around 10 minutes, is then attached to the front of the wedding video, giving the wedding video a "context", making the whole DVD more meaningful.
